I said to myself, "Just who is this
Greengage in my contacts? That looks an
awful lot like Adam Clutterbuck's work."
And sure enough, it is.
This is a powerful shot.

A fantastic dynamic photograph and dare I
say, quite different to the minimalistic
geometric style that you've developed to an
art. The low key effect works very well here.

Lovely shot Adam.. I've always imagined The
Cobb to be next to a windswept Georgian
fishing village like in "The French
Lieutenant's Woman" until I saw Coast on
BBC the other week and realised its the
harbour wall at Lyme Regis.

Thanks all for your comments so far!
@PhotoGsy - not for this shot, but I did get
a wave that dumped on me later at the end of
the cobb. Spray fell on me from above -
soaking me and the camera... Had to hurriedly
retreat and start mopping up the camera...

Truley exceptional work. The perspective with
the tiny people on the end, the dramatic
force of the waves (perfect timing and
exposure) , the clouds and the distant hills
make this an awe inspiring picture. Adam this
is one of the photos from Flickr I could hang

happily stare at it for hours.

Hi Mr Adam. Whaow. What a success by looking
all these comments. I am looking your albums
for the first time and are really impressed.
I like very much the way you select
landscape: in pure and very simple beauty.
Long exposure like time has no impact on it.
And when there are few people like this one,
they are just simple visitors on the earth.
Very very congratulations. You give me a lot
of sensations (nb: sorry for my English).
