At home they are like $2 a kilo :P Are they special ones? Not sure why they are so expensive? They also had apricots at 6 for $12!

	jamfancy says: I asked about this on one of my visits. They are perfect special fruit, often grown to be in an interesting shape and you only buy them as gifts for people. You can get cheap regular fruit just for eating as well as these. I saw some grapes last year that were so perfect they were pretty much art! Posted 3 months ago. ( permalink )

	shadow planet says: What an intriguing story! While I don't think I'd pay $130 for a watermelon that I could get for 3 bucks, the value of a perfect special fruit makes sense. Last year my mom gave me a potato from the garden and it was the most beautiful shape, size, weight and texture. It was perfect! That was the only way to describe it.
