There's a story to this one.
Went to bed late. Got the youngest ready and out the door for a dress rehersal for a Christmas concert really really early this morning. Eyes half glued together, clothes thrown on, hair a mess, you get the picture. Lo and behold, the rehersal is only next week. So, kiddo and I went for a drive to see if we could find a photo or two, and pick up some croissants on the way back.
This was taken on the plateau de Diesse near Lignière, which is at about 400 meters, em, I think. Anyway, the area's main characteristic is to be in or under fog throughout the winter season.
It is one of the saving graces, living on the swiss plains, to be able to climb up above the fog every once in a while during the winter months, and find that the sun is not just a memory.

Absolutely lovely with that pinkish sky!
Definitely a worthwhile trip, even if it's
not what you expected ;-)
And my mouth is watering at the thought of
those warm croissants!! :-)

There's something about the dark greyish
green colours against the fog and sky. Really
nice.

Still, you got a great photo out of it.
