Is this from the pompidou centre ? Its a
building I'd really like to see in the flesh.
This picture is superb, I really like these
elevated people shots you've been taking.

She's sitting back and looks relaxed. Very
appropriate title. I wonder what the other
one on the left is doing. Gave up selling,
perhaps.

Thanks to everyone for your comments on the
photo and the title. :)
RobotJAM, this is indeed from the Pompidou,
the french cultural center. It's known for
its inside-out architecture: tubing, piping,
escalators and elevators are sprawled around
the outside of the building. Inside, you'll
find a *hit-load of exhibitions and concerts,
but the bagage checks are worse than an
airport. Around the Pompidou, there are lots
of street acts and musicians (watch out for
pickpockets), and the subway exit is a haven
for suburban teenagers looking for action
(read; drunk, stoned, or worse). You'll also
find the worst kind of kitschy tourist
paraphenalia on the other side of this
square, all featuring - wait for it - what
else - the eiffel tower. And now you don't
have to go!
flappingwings, either that, or she was
successful and was so surprised she forgot to
get a life.
dbuk! Hey! Thanks! So you used this program
on one of your regular fractals to make the
"ball of yarn" ?

I do love these overhead images, and this is
a great one. Her lack of customers is
emphasised by the group (of tourists?).

Her little space looks very colorful. I like
how the shadows are elongated. 1-2-3

Thanks for the tour guide. I've got quite a
lot of books on architecture and its one of
the most interesting buildings. Its great
that something that crazy looking actually
got built.
