Return of the Evil Best-Maid Girl!!!
"It's better than bad, It's Good!"
Nothing fancy here, just a basic sandwich with sliced chicken and
smoke-flavored cheddar cheese. The lettuce is from a typical bag o'
salad and, as you can see, I've used some Best-Maid "Sandwich Spread".
Just in case you were doubting, the top of the jar assures you, "It's Good."

The spread was an impulse buy. I didn't know
that they'd made a spread either, but it was
under a buck, and I figured it couldn't be
worse than salad dressing. Perhaps that evil
little girl has her hooks in my soul.

The Boss has read your comment. Sandwich
Spread was created in 1926 along with
Mayonnaise and of course it IS GOOD.

Sandwich spread is a weird thing. It is
popular in the american south and the uk.
Heinz, is big in America, but it only makes
sandwich spread in the uk (heinz uk is borked at the moment). It
leaves Fort Worth's Best Maid (or hellmanns ) to cover the US.
Best maid has a webpage. It doesn't list
their sandwich spread, maybe it's new. But it
does list a fried pickle recipe , which will be made by me, at the first
possible opportunity.
But what is it? Mayonnaise + pickle relish
+ thousand island dressing, or something very
much like it.

I've eaten marshmallow fluff and peanut
butter sandwiches in the past. Talk about a
high fat, high sugar treat. Or, for the
ultimate rush, try fluff and nutella.

I think it's like 'special sauce' at
McDonalds or In & Out Burger.. mayo, relish,
mustard, and ketchup all mixed together.
