I know I'm not original in organizing my books by color. I've seen it in magazines and in other people's houses. We want to build our own bookshelves some day, but we had to prioritize our projects. So, we bought some bare-bones shelving and decided to organize the books in a way that would distract from the furniture. It's a hit and it makes the room look nice.

Chocolate cake aka "Sexual chocolate"Jaime started calling this cake "sexual chocolate," which flattered me. I think that will be the title now. It seems like everybody likes this cake. I tried to decorate it using the frosting tips that Rebecca gave me. But ganache is so liquidy when it starts out (it hardens later) and so the decoration turned out to be a stylish drip. That's cool.

It's done!
Jason and I have been working on making this table for about a year. We finished it the day of our July 4th party. It's made from a bowling lane. We are all about the reuse.
