concept: My series revolves around the idea of being comfortable in one's own skin. It reflects a person's insecurities about image and identity. People hate taking photos in natural light because it may not flatter them in the right way. They may be insecure about their body parts, like their necks, jaw lines, eyes, complexion, and even looking directly into the camera or showing their entire face. My series touches on and emphasizes the different parts of ones body people can be insecure about, and in return exposing my own imperfections and flaws.
