oh yes..........we have these also here in
california.....memorials to people who have
died on the road. a delicate and touching
tribute and marker. this tradition is
powerful medicine. helps heal hearts, and
remind people who are driving that life is
sacred, and to be careful to protect it.
there's that beautiful New Mexico sky. hope
all is well with you and your son.

Those moments of life that are painful and
somehow have to be wrapped into who we are
and what we become...in all the many places I
have lived I have seen these and am reminded
of just your thoughts--care for each moment
and savor it all for who know what the next
may bring...

We have these here in our area of Georgia
too. There is one that is personal for me.
His name is Gregory Allen Green. His
accident happened only a half a mile ahead of
us and we were re-routed that day because of
it. His name was put on the cross and it
just sort of sings out his name to me. I too
see it every day and my heart breaks, because
he was the same age as my son was when he
died, not in this manner but still the same
age. Such a shame to see so many of these
along the highways!! It was very kind of you
and I'm sure the family of this person thanks
you in their hearts!!

a beautiful tribute shot.
By the way, I'm gonna be heading up to shoot
with Tim on the 30th and 31st. If you happen
to have a little time, I'd love to meet you!
