It's a car mirror! Looks much more bigger.
Nice green color. The extra light on the
camera's makes it real holy. At last of
course your face/eye, makes it complete. Nice
image.

I think the nails adds personality to this
picture. Its a self portrait, and nails tell
a lot about someone (so they say).

The camera is washed out, center of the
frame, and I can't make out any details.
Does that bug anyone else? It bugs me. But
I like everything else.

Thank you those who actually commented on the
picture itself as a whole and not just the
nails.
This is no defense, but a thought before
people continue to bash my hands - two of the
fingers are bitten on, yes - because I bite
them from nerves and habit - the other two
(the ones that look the worse) were actually
ripped by barbed wire 2 summers ago on a trip
to an organic farm in mexico. Since that day
they have not grown back properly and have
stayed half a nail, half flesh. I apologize
if this turns people off, but it's physically
impossible for me to get these nails back.
Just thought a little history might be
enlightening. Personally I like these 'nail
scars' just like all my other scars, and I'm
not ashamed of them, or I wouldn't have
posted.
carry on with the buthchery. :)
oh yes and the camera actually isn't washed
out - it's just shiny. ;)

this is just a decent bored self-portrait,
nothing else.
also, the camera is washed out. when
working with photoshop, i cannot get any
detail out of the face of the camera. it is
shiny, yes, but you are wrong.

the camera is very white indeed, but that's
acceptable.
the colors and the blur are just perfect.
the nails are confrontating as they should.

nifty composition, but I somehow wish it was
a self-portrait that didn't have the camera
SO front-and-center -- it distracts me from
everything i like about the image, seems too

it does have a curious and revealing
narrative. the green/yellow tone certainly
adds to the self-consciousness of the
piece...as do the nails.

I love this, it all works for me, and the
nails are that one imperfection needed to
make this photo real and honest. I have never
been able to get a decent in the mirror self
portrait, I'm totally jealous, you have a
total winner here.

I love it. Great composition, quirky mood,
good balance.
And I love your nails. I think they are
grand and full of personality. I would take
real fingernails over painted talons any day.
But my favorite part of this photo is your
