Sigma 10-20 lens @12mm, f/8, six exposures from 1/1600s to 1/50s blended and tonemapped with Photomatix.

'New York Public Library' On Black

Six exposures is probably a little bit of overkill for a shot such as this one (though this did come out looking slighter nicer than a 3xp version of the same photo), however I wanted to see if it was feasible with my mini-tripod and camera, which will only bracket 3 images at a time. I don't see any alignment errors arising from me touching the camera to adjust the exposure half-way through, so it appears the test was successful.

The trick now is to find an opportunity to take photos in some better light... mid-day sunshine is about as uninteresting as it gets. If only I could schedule my day-job around my photography, rather than vice versa :-)
