If you know me, you know my least favorite activity is dishes. Very few people actually enjoy doing the dishes, but I loathe the task. Actually my grandmother loves doing the dishes; she says that's always the one moment where everyone leaves her alone, and she can relax, watch the garden out the window, and play in the warm, soapy water. But I am not my grandmother. Don't have a reason why I despise washing dishes, per say, but my avoidance of my dirty dishes often leads to the genesis of various stages of life in my sink basin.
Well, my domestic ineptitude caused me to ignore the Dawn dish washing detergents insistence that it was "ultra concentrated." Naturally, I added far more than the recommended teaspoon, and, after a few tubs full of dishes, pots, and pans, I still had suds.
So I washed down my microwave, stove, and front of the fridge. Still suds. An hour or so later, and the suds are still there.
I am running out of things to wash....

I love doing dishes, pretty much for the same
reasons as your grandma. And when I work in
restaurants, I relish the times when I'm the
dishwasher. I kick every one out of my
station, I won't even let them scrape off the
dishes if they're annoying me, and then I
relax in the repetitive movements of the task
at hand. And at the end, when everything in
the kitchen (home or not) is clean, and I'm
good and sweaty, I sit down with a soda and
enjoy the cleanliness.
I love cleaning toilets too!

i have to learn to enjoy that repetition and
re-see a chore as being instead a relaxing
moment.....
but if you are stressed and need to relax,
you could wash jon's kitchen and my toilet =]
