Love your enthusiasm! I guess that is why
Flickr is such an amazing site for keen
photographers.:)

As a result of the amazing play of light,
this image transcends the mere shadow shot
that we all attempt to carry off; it is
truly a work of art. Although all three are
stunning -- this one is most, most unusual
and unexpected. Fantastic work!!!

Thank you so much, lorendeniseb, for your
kind comments! It is very nice to know that
you, and others, have taken such a keen
interest in my shadow experiments. I don't
know where it will lead but I expect that
I've only begun to scratch the surface of
what is possible.
Clearly, Best of Your Series is an
excellent group in which to "test"
some of my ideas.:)
Thanks again,
Peggy

Hi Peggy,
I think your shadow experiments are worthy
of a gallery show -- to be perfectly honest
-- especially some of your spectacular
self-portraits in addition to this set.
Best,
Loren

The thought has seriously crossed my mind,
Loren, even before I'd even heard of Flickr
(I joined late Feb '07).
Will have to see what I can do in this
regard. Thanks, again for your kind remarks!

Why is it that shadows are often so much more
interesting than the real thing, no ffence
meant to this gent.?

Even without the strange light effect, this
would be a great shot. But those flashes of
light really take it to the next level.
