Our new place (well, not so new... whatever) is right down by Enoggera Creek. When we have a bit of rain and the creek flushes itself out you get the most wonderful clear water tricking down its banks.

I love walking down to it and sploshing around barefoot looking for interesting bugs, fish and turtles. The dogs like to run down to the creek in the summer and run around for hours on end.

Its really sad because i hardly ever see kids down there playing in the creek... I wish it would rain more often to keep the level high enough for a dip in the summer time.
