To take full advantage of Flickr, you should use a JavaScript-enabled browser and

Our new place (well, not so new... whatever) is right down by Enoggera Creek. When we have a bit of rain and the creek flushes itself out you get the most wonderful clear water tricking down its banks.

I love walking down to it and sploshing around barefoot looking for interesting bugs, fish and turtles. The dogs like to run down to the creek in the summer and run around for hours on end.

Its really sad because i hardly ever see kids down there playing in the creek... I wish it would rain more often to keep the level high enough for a dip in the summer time.

I used to live in a house that backed onto a creek in this little network of waterways... we would get in our togs on sunny days and sit in the shallow rapids. You don't need much water to "take a dip"!
