Today was my wife’s nephew Jarod’s funeral. After all of the usual funeral activities of the day we ended up out at his family’s house. As the afternoon moved on we found ourselves down at the pond behind the house. By late in the afternoon a lot of the friends and family were either in the pond or riding the zip line out into the pond. The picture is of Jarod’s bother riding the zip line. I guess maybe we do things a little different out here in the sticks.

This day was a pretty good challenge for me, lots of food and adult beverages. I have found that lately adult beverages, diabetes and I, do not necessarily get along real well together. I was a good boy today only a little food and a couple of beverages. Man I hate it when diabetes makes me be all responsible and grown up.
