After the schoolkids (see previous) had gone on their way, giggling, these two were left. My guess is that they were among those who didn't have the money to go to school, but the older boy was my shadow as I wandered this tiny town. He would hover around the corners, never coming too close, but would beckon me onto side paths and back along the river, until he finally took me to meet his family.
