Silence...
Povoação, ilha de S. Miguel Açores
Silence Of Sea Breeze
Cool is the sea breeze:
That clings my whole life….
The humming bees and the waves
Breaks the silence and leaves message
The love for the breeze of source of life’s ocean
It touch softly the virile abundance
And sea bird sings sweetly,
In the concert and dance.
Mute love it bestows and pervades,
Whispers gently amongst peerless comrades,
Melancholy still overpowers me in my grief.
With the ocean current of life’s source,
So grave and deep.

It was a primitive kind of harbour...
Porto dos Carneiros, concelho da Lagoa, ilha de S. Miguel Açores
Diz-se que foi aqui que o infante D. Henrique mandou lançar gado, antes da colonização da ilha de São Miguel.
It was a very primitive kind of harbor, where boats were drawn up amid the stumps,—such a one, methought, as the Argo might have been launched in.
