Stunning, but at the larger size, the water
became distracting. I agree that the
exposure is great.

i cant appreciate or criticize this photo for
the heck of it. i look at it and try to
understand the idea behind it, and also your
limitaions while trying to cover what you
wanted. the photo lacks an overall appeal.
what catches my attention the most is the
silhouette of people behind the sprays, and i
must give you marks for that. the over
balance is uuuuuummmm ...... fine, but take
at look at the bottom right and the bottom
left corners, what do you see ? (yes you
should have gone a bit to the right). now
move on to the details on the building
itself. i like what i see. i'd have prefered
a rather slower shutter speed. why ? the most
displeasing part is the diffusion of sunset
colors into gray (top right & top left)
and also the water spray is a bit too forozen
and not as silky (pleasing) as it should have
been. personnaly i have deliberately chopped
of the top of towers / tombs to cover
something else in my photos, to see what'd
happen. but dont make a habit out of it, cuz
it does 'not' create any good impact . but i
need to give you points for experimentation.

Great shot, but imho you need to do something
about the halo.

@alive in calgary - The halo is actually more
a result of the sun directly behind the
building than the HDR process. It appeared on
the original shots.

I guess I could see that. It dose look
like front lighting though, must be a hdr
effect of backlighting(Score 8/10 from the Score Me HDR group) revised

Very beautifully! HDR with water, very much
inspiring! in the larger dissolution the
water becomes effective well. Me to wish the
roof would see full. To me well it could
present in another angle still more plastic
with the sky works. Do you have to moderate
for a color filter for the building to meant
that blue?

I personally really like this shot. My only
problem with it is that I'd like to see the
entire dome.

I don't mind the halo - (which is
accentuated by HDR process, if not entirely
made by it)
This is a reasonable HDR treatment,
although another exposure in there might made
the subject stand out even more. It's a
nicely framed job, and has a certain symetry
I find appealing. well done.

I wouldn't mind the halo if the darker part
of it were a nice colour as part of the sky -
the greyness doesn't really help.
Also, a slight crop on the left will
balance it properly.
