Mustang. Girl inside (I know, because she wound up pulling in at the same BP gas station I did. I thought she might beat me up for taking pictures of her car. She didn't. Lucky me.
There used to be cigarette butt here. I threw it in the trash. Digitally, anyhow.
Driving to grab a cup of joe today in my dinky (err... fuel efficient) little Toyota I thought I'd hang my camera out the door and snap a few shots.
I didn't get the motion blur I wanted (there's a little there, but not much), and it was a pretty boring shot. But a little digital darkroom magic makes it a bit more dramatic and maybe even menacing.
Like a scene from a noir film.

another angle , on a different day.

Nicely worked! The grain makes it look like
it's raining and it's looks like you risked
your camera for this shot. Brave! Great
perspective too.

I love this shot. You did good. I think,
IMHO, that it could stand alone without the
frame tho'. It's an interesting perspective
and I really like the treatment.

Thanks, everybody, for the invites and the
comments! This started out as a fairly bland
"snapshot" and has turned into one
of my favorite photos.
bunchadogs and susan , I agree, I should probably kill the frame.
I wasn't sure, and choosing/creating frames
is one of my weakest skills.
