It was a day for bugs, apparently. I found some sort of weevil and while preparing to shoot him a ladybug climbed on board my shirt. So, I shot him, too!

Boy, these little critters move fast. Getting my dinky little autofocus point-and-shoot digicam to trigger the shutter when the bug was in frame was harder than I thought.

Here, you don't see the ladybug's legs because he was startled and had pulled them in. I tried to time this shot for just after he started to move, but I jumped the gun. Oh well.
