You're back! And this image fairly glows.
Myself, I would have had real difficulty even
seeing the possibilities in this shot: the
transition from sharp to blurry, the light on
the distant tree, the sense of calm: you
can't see that (very well) in the viewfinder.
But you managed to capture it all and it's a
joy.

am astounded by the light and sharpness in
the foreground yet I slip so easily, so
quickly into a blurry delirium where perhaps
I'll stay for a good long while...

Hmmm... If I was shooting this scene, I'd
focus on that bush and would end up with a
mundane picture of... a bush. I love what you
did instead. That bush and those roots look
kind of unnerving. And so does the sky.
Out-of this-world feeling overall.
