Qutb Minar, Delhi

When you have a tiling of the plane, it is hard to resist exponentiating.... Here I have exponentiated the Peirce quincuncial tiling to give a Droste effect.

When you have a tiling of the plane, it is hard to resist exponentiating.... Here I have exponentiated the Peirce quincuncial tiling to give a Droste effect, and then conformally mapped that again into a square, so it tiles nicely once more.
