A Bird on the Shoulder

To take full advantage of Flickr, you should use a JavaScript-enabled browser and
install the latest version of the Macromedia Flash Player.

This was drive-by shooting -- almost. I was waiting at a red light when I suddenly realised the guy I was absent-mindedly watching on the sidewalk had a dove sitting on his shoulder.

I lowered the window, whipped out the camera (I'd taken it with me "just in case" and hadn't taken it out of the bag yet), turned it on and poked it out of the window.

That's where I was really happy to have a camera with a pivoting screen. I didn't have to stick my head out of the window :-)
