Yes you knew it would happen. Ikea now has hybrid parking only spots. Proximity to the door now ranks in at: wheelchair, expectant or with baby parents and hybrid vehicle.

According to Ikea's press release that spot is not just for hybrids but for any vehicle that uses less than 6.5 L/100km of fuel. I'm going to park my TDI there next time.
