Which side is that from? Is he on the little
bench on the south side?
Anyway...
Great shot. When I first saw the thumbnail,
I thought it could use some more contrast
because it has such bold outlines and stark
composition, but at the larger size, it
really, really works. Actually, more contrast
would ruin it. The tonal quality is
beautiful.
I really like this because it totally
places him as the subject, but doesn't
neglect the bridge in any way. The span even
draws a good line (something I've never seen
anyone do with that particular bridge,
either).
I also really like how you've used a
difference in light rather than DOF to
separate the two.
