WOW! What a fine taste, what a gracefulness
and refinement, dear Catthy! Just a true
pearl of noble perfection............ and
love this strong Far-Eastern aftertaste in it
(not in vain Your are quoting today Basho -

emotionally thrilling and stylish
vintage-esque ambiance as well.............
Just outstanding tenderness & artistry,
indeed!.
BTW, for Chinese (and Japanese) cultures
this flower is too archetypal.... It is
usually mentioned in all spheres of Art- in
poetry, in literary drama, in classic
theater and, surely, in decorative
arts........
In very ancient Chinese culture this is a
flower, that was given by a man to his lady
as a sign of love & at the same time as a
sign of the strong hope to meet each other
again (after finishing of thier
"love-season)" - in a year (usually
in March) etc...........................
well, lots of interesting things are
connected with this primordial
sign-image........ It was considered as a
magic flower (well, with a sad hue).. and so
on and so forth..............
So............... love this multi-cultural
ART-image very much! Brilliant! BRAVO, Cathy
- as ever!

hiya catty! i've been away for the last
week, and this is the first pic i see on
returning - and wow, what an image! the way
the written script & the patterns on the
flower echo each other seems totally
miraculous - but it takes a miraculous eye to
see it & put it all together!!!
