Dead Horse Bay Paving

For all of the allure of a beach strewn with neat things to look at and figure out, you probably wouldn't want to go to Dead Horse Bay in July or August. The southern edge of the shoreline is covered with tar. I can only imagine how it gets to gurgling and oozing when it gets hot out.
