Sandhill Crane

When we arrived at the Kensington Metropark's Nature Center we were greeted by a pair of young Sandhill Cranes resting and preening on the lawn. We spent several minutes photographing them, getting closer and closer, and the whole time they seemed fairly unconcerned and continued their activity. What a treat!
