	dave_graham says: 24 pounds is the unofficial (adult scale at home) measurement. we get the official weigh in at the doctor's tomorrow. regardless, she has done some tremendous growing, and all i can attribute it to is trips to McDonalds for nuggets and fries (and a vanilla shake!). :-) Posted 2 months ago. 	mandapanda0429 says: I just wanted to say that your Maddie has come so far. My girls were born 10 weeks early and spent 43 and 98 days in the NICU. They are now 20 and 25 lbs at 22 months. You inspire me and I have much hope that they will also catch up soon developmentally. They would not be here either without the March of Dimes. I am doing the walk in Providence in April. 	my2preemies says: What a beautiful video! My dtr was born 12 weeks early weighing 2lbs 7.6 oz - very big for a 28weeker (her dad is 6' 3"). It brought back so many memories watching the video. Laney is now almost 8 years old and doing great. She has been one of the tallest in her class since preschool. No one can believe she was a preemie. She is ahead academically in school and began reading at the age of 3. Keep doing what you are doing. It sounds like Maddie is on the right track. We are doing the March for Babies walk for the first time this year. My son (also a preemie - 9 weeks early) decided to do the walk as his "Acts of Kindness" in Karate to earn another gold star. He chose March for Babies because he "doesn't want there to be anymore preemie babies." Thank you for putting this video out there and for being an inspiration to other parents who are in the same position, looking for encouragement! God Bless you all.
