Kurt Fickeisen cruising along ropeless on the west buttress of the south peak of the Old Settler - possibly one of the best easy climbs (or difficult scrambles) on Earth - 400m vertical, more like 600m of climbing, of rock solid gabbro (or is it olivine?) pitched at a friendly angle, with great friction and plenty of holds. Although I have never felt the need to rope up on this one, some people do so and enjoy it more that way
