	mmealling says: Gator has become quite a treat in the south again now that limited harvesting has been allowed. Bar-b-qued gator ribs are wonderful. And no, its not like chicken. Its more like calamari. Posted 30 months ago. ( permalink )
	Abstract Gourmet says: I'm assuming alligator tastes pretty similar to crocodile, which gets served quite often in Australian restaurants ( especially those trying to push "indigenous" cuisine ). It's actually pretty tasty... a nice white meat similar to fish with a texture a little like squid. Although i think oven roasting a whole crocodile might be a bit of an effort. Posted 30 months ago.
