Exploring my fascination with darkness and the east bay churches. Again.
This one is in a chancy area where Berkeley, Oakland, and Emeryville come together, but it's a pretty empty area. Very few cars came by during the long, long exposures.

Great composition. How adventurous of you to
tripod about in the dark in such an area!

it is indeed wonderful.. the compostion, the
tones.. the mood... makes me feel cold yet
curious, scared and sorry right away. for me,
there is no other way to describe it.
*great job!*

it has the feel of a Robert Frank, iconic,

Thank you, kind folks.
Sean, it's not so adventurous, really - I
bicycle through this area on my way home on a
regular basis.

I must agree about the composition. It's
greatness increased by the lighting and
overall vibe. Great shot, sir.

This might be my favourite shot of this set.
I'm not sure why but I'd like a side of Lou
Reed to go with that.

You're a wise woman, Maya - it's my favorite,
too. I guess I can hear the Velvet U. playing
here.
