I finally got around to ordering business cards for myself. yay! I like how they look very much. And I'm hoping that having your own business card is a really great "I remember the first time I had my own yadayada" type memory.
(and in case anyone was wondering the answer is yes. I did in fact clone out all my personal contact info. I still don't entirely trust this so-called "interwebby" thing, nor do I trust the seedy throngs of morally ambiguous "users" who "surf" it.) ;-P

@svend - no gardening ever again? why? :(
@patrick - thanks! (and yeah - they're from
vista. cheap and easy.)
@terry - maybe someday you will have a
yard, and be rich. then you can fly me out
for a consultancy position. heh heh. that'd
be fun.

we have an upper flat and me and the b/f and
i had a contest to see who could plant and
arrange the best porch potter for the summer,
with judging to happen around labor day. well
we went away for about a week before labor
day and our poor plants were absolutely
scorched. i went with a native michigan
theme- coneflowers, black eyed susans, etc. i
don't know why this is relevent but congrats
on being your own boss.

Very attractive cards, and a cool name for
the business as well.
Oh, and I agree with you about the
intertubes. Too many odd folks with strange
agendas there be.

There could be a little more breathing space
between the top and the first line IMHO.

@ Greg - because i'm now own a flat in the
city and don't know anybody with a garden
they don't do themselves and also I don't see
that a change of scenario is very likely to
occur
I actually quite like the warm yellow of
those tulips - it flatters both the black of
the lines in bold and the relative greyness
of the rest and the white of the paper, and
there's no other colour(s) for it to compete
with
Youz looking like in yesterday's
versatility shot and handing out this card,
how can they not immediately place their
orders for gardens to be created and surveyed
and replanned and overhauled and restored and
maintained and looked after and ... (always a
leaf to rake, a bulb to place at its proper
depth, ideas to water and weed)

I used Vista for my last cards and really
liked how they came out. You can't beat the
pricing either.
