this is truly remarkable -- i can't tell what
real, what's drawn -- and i love it. it's
like an opera in a single shot.

@jen - it's all real as long as
"reineterpretation vis-a-vis
photoshop" counts. Nothing is cloned and
there's no heavy layer merging... just
adjustment layers and a couple filters.
an opera in a single shot... man, that is one excellent comment.
Thanks.
@Derick - a book cover? For what book? publish me dammit! lol. thanks.
@Patrick, more like "tossed into
worcester" --which is actually a LOT
nicer than hell, if you give it a chance. ;-)
@Nelma, thanks! Matthew *is* a great
model... But being his love and him being
mine is even better!

tribal feel to the image and composition.

All this apocawhatever - it's just an utterly
cool and strong picture, a huge etching with
a handsome devil turning up from God knows
where, all power and alone and selfsufficient
like one of the big cats
.

Matt is drawfed by the "silo" -- in
an imploring role. One of Dante's rings of
hell.

Interesting how everyone says he is in a hell
situation; to me he is at the brink of
escaping, emerging from a personal torment...
he seems more resilient and not at all
passive, not surrendering to the decay.
But the different interpretations is what
makes this a powerful image. Good work.

Beautiful shot here Greg. I like this foundry
series anyway, but of them, this one grabs my
attention. Matt appears almost helpless...
