so this is my first stab at HDR.
see the tags -- I'm not disappointed, nor am I excited.
However, I can tell that there's tremendous potential in this HDR business.

Very strange and beautiful. Fantastically
well done as a first HDR attempt. I'm not
normally a fan of either HDR or opuntia
polycantha, but I fave this!

thanks everyone!!
susan, here’s the most friendly and basic tutorial I could
find on creating an HDR image... (from a
2-minute long google search, mind you... I'm
sure there are better ones out there that are
more oriented to CS2 -- but the CS2 basics
are in there non the less... I'm generally
pretty lazy about searches and ambitious
about figuring it out myself.)

New growth, indeed... and not just on the
cactus, but in your photography skills as
well. Nicely done, eggie.
I had to consult Wikipedia to find out what
HDR meant. By the way, the photo of the
bridge on their page on HDR is worth the
visit.
