from the flower mines...

I plucked abunch od these last fall and let them press and dry between books.

I've been waiting till I was either sad, uninspired, bored, umotivated or in need of color to do something with them.

as it turns out, I'm feeling all those things right now.

So I figured it was about time to get the leaves out and try something with them.

I put them on a piece of glass with a clip lamp underneat the glass

and took some pictures.

and this is one of the pictures i took.

I think the green parts look like lizard skin

and the red viens looks like something more abstract and more human.

I identify with the red parts more than the green parts

but wish I identified with the green parts more than the red parts at the moment.
