A great shot! I spent some summers in the
lake district on family holidays. That blue
sky and those fluffy clouds where rare, I
recall standing on top of Scafell and not
being able to see a metre in front of me but
a beautiful landscape nonetheless. Good
memories!

Many thanks for all your kind comments, all
much appreciated.
 one of my favourite places too, always
peaceful since you don't get too many
visitors because of the location. Another
spot I like is Burnmoor Tarn, just over the
other side of the screes on Eskdale Moor, and
that is a desolate place when you get out
there and look around at the mountains.

Awesome. I've never seen Wastwater look so
lovely - every time I've been it's been grey
and raining, and always seemed ominous and
scary. This is gorgeous - though the water
still gives off hints of its depths.
