Photos of Padstow and the Camel Estuary. Padstow is a small fishing town on the Western side of the Camel Estuary in North Cornwall. With it’s inner and outer harbours, narrow streets, numerous restaurants and cafes (including Rick Stein’s) and ancient customs like the ‘Obby ‘Oss festival on May Day, Padstow is a popular tourist spot. The estuary has wide sandy beaches and the infamous Doom Bar which has grounded or wrecked many unsuspecting vessels at high tide.
