You posted that one night shot earlier and it
looked dope. Thats what inspired me to take
my sick butt out there with cough drops and
shoot some more.
I just lucked out that after I crossed over
Barham, I took Mulholland on a wim :)

A photographer's main instrument is his eyes.
Strange as it may seem, many photographers
choose to use the eyes of another
photographer, past or present, instead of
their own. Those photographers are blind. You
have great eyes!

It's amazing how clear the city looks on the
other side of the hill because the smoke was
blowing east. Great capture. I have one up
from the opposite side of the park.

What a great shot! Found it searching tags
for Griffith Park to see what Flickr folks
were able to capture through the night. This
is the best of the lot. Awesome detail and
color.

Great vantage point -- I shot a couple around
10pm from west LA. Didn't have my tripod with
me and was shooting from a fifth floor deck.
Had to stack a couple of small tables on top
of each other and hope for the best.

That's an awesome photo - especially when you
view the big one.
I know it's a terrible fire, but this is
one of those sorts of shots that just
encapsulates what happens. I can imagine
people looking at it a few years from now and
going 'oh yeah...I remember...'
