I loved the contrast between the fresh spring blossoms and the old weathered university hall.

This is a High Dynamic Range composite made from three RAW exposures using Photomatix. I really should have taken more exposures, as even the +2 ev image was very dark. (It was too bright to see the histogram on my camera, so I didn’t discover this until after I got home.)

This image is deliberately very saturated, to try to play up how bright the flowers looked against the gray stone.

I hate overdone HDR. I agree with Michael Freeman that it's all about recovering/preserving information, not creating strange surreal images. This HDR is a bit overdone, or at least oversaturated.
