A beautiful, different shot. Well done on
the timing - right place, right time - I wish
elephants strode past me so I could take
pictures like this of them! Score 10/10 (from

Wonderful capture. The vlur around the mirror
adds to the effect that the elephant is
chasing you down.

Nice shot, and lucky timing. It does look
like the elephant is coming for you. (I
would opt for a title something like:
"Objects in mirror are closer than they
appear.") Reminds me of a Farside
cartoon, and I just keep thinking of funny
captions, which might make another nice group
for Flickr, or maybe there is one already...
Anyway, it's a pretty clear shot, but not
perfectly focused. Composition is well
balanced. Nice job.
From the Rate and Comment:Animals Group, you are given a 7/10 ranking.

Wow. I love the colours.
Initially i assumed you had composited the
image of the hulking elephant into the
reflection and a blurred resized crop of the
ground and grass around the mirror... but
evidently this wasn't the case.

Great mirror shot! And look at the size of
those droppings in the road. For those folks
who were concerned, the advice given was
correct. If the elephant was angry, his ears
would be extended, and he'd be moving a lot
faster. Racing off would be the wrong thing
to do, especially if there were more
elephants in front of you.
