Manitou Passage in Glass
To take full advantage of Flickr, you should use a JavaScript-enabled browser and
install the latest version of the Macromedia Flash Player .
Left to right it's Pyramid Point, South Manitou Island, the North Manitou Shoal Light (aka "the Crib") and North Manitou Island. Had I a REEEEALLY wide angle lens, you would see Whaleback off to the right aways over there ------>
You can get a lot of historical information on this Great Lakes shipping passage from
Life Along the Manitou Passage .
Added to the
Cream of the Crop pool as most favorited.

Great shot. I like the way that the clouds
kind of zig-zag into the blue sky.

Well, this is actually the road to my house.
The view from there is not as good as your view , but still pretty nice and I used to hike up
this hill to see this when I was a kid, so it
does give me peace.
