On a cold, snowing & blowing Michigan
winter day like today, this comes as a nice
relief of what is soon to come. (but not soon
enough!)
Great capture!

I can't think of much that's happier than a
cherry orchard in spring. I can imagine
myself right now standing there in the warm
sun. Thanks, Andy!

Hope you waited - it's still nutty out
there. It's so late in the week, you might as
well stay the weekend.
Thanks, I like this kind too - gives you the
sense of taking a moment to hear the bees
buzzing.
Definitely, Kathy & Diann
-17? You need one of my July and 90 degrees
shots! I remember those kind of temps from
Wausau - brutal.
Pipe down back there - we'll get there when
we get there. ;)
I'm not gonna believe your eyes ever get
sore, Ralph. As far as I'm concerned, they're
made of diamonds ... or are those just cheap
plastic lenses?
Thanks j - age doesn't bring all that much,
but it does bring an understanding of the
turning of the earth. I saw January 30th this
morning ... then 2008. I'm pretty sure I was
supposed to have a flying car by now.
It might, but it's 100% natural. One of the
e-500's strengths is bright sunlight.
You're welcome. When I saw it I thought I
better share it sooner rather than later.
It better not come too soon. I have one of
those White Gold Ski Cards with a bunch of punches left!
You're welcome. It's one of the happiest
times of year for sure.
Thanks and Thanks!
It'll be a challenge for sure - I should
post the shot of the snow that has blown
under the back door.

Beautiful! I love the dof here. Plus it
makes me feel SO much better, as long as I
don't accidentally look out my window.

I have to admit it, I am a winter junkie.
Always have been, always will be.
That being said I think I am beginning to
look forward to spring a little more than
usual, especially after seeing this shot.

I like winter too. I don't find it as easy to
get out and about in winter though and so I'm
chafing for the return of biking and hiking.

This photo appears on Leelanau County Cherry Blossom Tour on Leelanau.com.
It's Gusty Knowe - the orchard right across
from the Good Harbor Bay access in Leelanau
County.
