beautiful colours & detail :)
i've just got an sx70, and am totally loving
it, but am worried about the film running out
- what's your experience like with the 110B?

thanks! :-) the 110 B is a fantastic camera.
super sharp lens. and beautiful to look at.
the only thing that i found a bit maddening
was that the closest focus i think is at
around 3ft so it's not very good for
portraits. they sell a close up lens adapter
and i bought it but you have to use a
measuring tape and do math to figure it out!
not my style. so i picked up a 195 that
included a portrait lens and close up lens
and i LOVE the portrait lens. and it has
this extra piece you stick over the
viewfinder so you can actually tell where
you're focusing (no measuring tape!!!!!). so
now i have both cameras. the cool thing
about the 110b is that it has a built in
pinhole cover. the great thing about the 195
is that the lens is 1 stop faster (great for
bokeh/DoF in portraits). i'd recommend
either wholeheartedly. those glass lenses
will blow you away. the 195 is probably a
bit easier to carry around (lighter and it
has a normal camera strap - the 110b just has
a hand strap). but the sx-70 is my alltime
favorite, but just not that feasible for
shooting in the long run unless someone comes
up with a 600 alternative.

thanks so much - that's really helpful. i'm
still going to use the sx70 as long as i can,
but i think i'll have to get one of these
sooner or later!
