Model for a HotelFourth Plinth public art project - Trafalgar Square London. German artist Thomas Schutte is the second man to be awarded the accolade of mounting his work on the fourth plinth. His glass creation, titled 'Model for a Hotel' is an architectural model of a 21-storey building, built from five centimetre (two inch) thick slabs of blue, red and yellow glass. The entire structure weighs over eight tonnes

Without any recent images to post, this one pulled from my London visit for Trooping the Colour. The above are some of the troops that lined the Mall. In this shot they are in the process of re-forming at the end of the ceremony ready to march back to barracks.
