Handheld panorama of 81 pictures. Part of my
Wee planets set.
This was built using the same pictures as in
this other version, only using a different stitcher. This version was created with PTStitcher (on a suggestion by
Seb Przd), while the other one was stitched with enblend.
I usually prefer enblend over PTStitcher :
- PTStitcher seams are more visible
- PTStitcher requires a lot more memory. With enblend I had no problem generating a
6000x3000 version of this panorama, and I've built larger ones in the past; to use PTStitcher I had to use a smaller resolution: 3000x1500 here (all these sizes are before the planetoid crop).
However, PTStitcher can do brightness and color correction (I used only brightness correction here), and on this picture it really helped.
Now I've noticed that PTStitcher generates a file named Debug.txt that contains the color correcting curves used for each picture. So maybe I could use this to color correct the original pictures before using enblend to stitch a larger version.
