And photos like this are why, just somewhere,
deep in the 'I must be bonkers' area in the
back of my mind, I still wanna visit a snowed
in US city. Not because it'll be fun, or warm
and cheery, certainly not because it'll be
easy to get around as a clueless halfwit
tourist, but because it just looks cool.
Nicely done man. :)

Hope you're all right. At home, drinking hot
cocoa, wrapping presents, writing cards, and
not out in the snow anymore.

I know huh Megan Jane ? They really did
forcast and spot on said what time it was
going to start. More people should have
taken mass transit. oh well.
and Yes Purplewon. I got home just fine
thanks for asking.
Took me about an hour and a half to get
home from Boston to Raynham and thats about
40 minutes more than my regular commute so I
was happy : - ) Stopped at Dunkin' Donuts
in Taunton for a pick me up. Then I started
up the Snow Blower and took care of the
Driveway : o )

I still like the snow after all these years.
The worst I remember was having Dinner at
Anthony's Pier 4 the evening of the
"Blizzard of 78".
I had 6 guys from Drackett (Drano etc) out
to dinner. The airport closed. I got them
into the Sheraton, and began my drive home to
Uxbridge, MA.
After being hit by a careening car, I
finally made it home after 4 hours. The
Drackett guys were stranded in a COLD
Sheraton for 4 days.
The Governor banned all traffic and a boy
neighbor of mine disappeared during the storm
in February, The mailman found him in April
near his front steps. 56 inches of snow fell
in that one night.
But aside from the tragedy that can happen,
Snow is part of life in New England..

My brother-in-law, who is home in Seattle
from South Africa for Christmas, and he was supposed go to Boston for a meeting, and got stopped
in Detroit, MI overnight, his flight
canceled, and he came back home the next
morning. We celebrated his birthday tonight,
which is a relief, since the weather in
Boston (and, for that matter, Detroit) isn't
ideal flying weather. :(

Wow, look how dark so early in the day! That
is some dense precipitation! I will live
vicariously through those of you who share
these shots when it comes to snow though.
Thanks for sharing!
