DITLO TX project, March 1986. Lampasas County, Texas
Brownie Smith ponders his next move early in a game.
I was contacted by Mr. Smith's daughter this week. I had no idea who this man or any of the others were since my ID notes from 22 years ago were long ago discarded. Seems her son was googling for some Lampasas stuff and stumbled across these. Now I've sent the images to Ms. Schwartzer so she can get prints made.
You gotta love the internet.
From a one-day shoot in Lampasas County, Texas on Texas Independence day in 1986 for a book project that wound up never being published.

ReyGuy, this is my dad. He passed away in
March of this year (2008).
I love the pictures you took of the Domino
Hall. Is there anyway I can get copies of
this series?

Yes, it was a different era. Cameras and
film and darkrooms. No computers needed.
