I went to Vashon today. My parents miss me and I must admit, I miss them too. I made oatmeal raisen & chocolate chip cookies and my mom made me a delicious home cooked meal.

This photo looks so incredibly amature to me. Bleh. I'm in the business of finding a new lens. I've been doing a lot of research, and I always find myself looking at the canon 17-40mm f4.0 L USM EF AF lens. Any of you shoot with that? I want to hear some reviews from people first hand, rather than just reading about it on various websites.

I'm looking for a good "walk around" lens. I'd like to take my SP's with it and I'd like a good range. I'm thinking about renting the above lens for my trip to Australia.

Any opinions and thoughts are GREATLY appreciated.

my old boy

My favorite old dog is turning 12 in a couple weeks. He's down the 3 legs and and only gets up if he absolutely has to. He's the sweetest old guy ever and I'm going to be insanly depressed without him. My parents are taking good care of him, so I hope he sticks around awhile longer.

day eighty five- exploration

today I slept in and it was amazing. Kevin came home from work and we ventured out into our new backyard. It was our first time back there and it's darling. There's cute little benches all over the place and there's just a lot of charm.

I'm about to go to work... 5-11. I like that shift because I can sleep in and have most of the day to myself.

Time to go!

day eighty four- karisa ann and beer

Today I worked 9-5 then my best friend Karisa ventured over to my new place. We went to Olive Garden with Kevin and then sat around reading entries from my old diary and drank beer. I really don't like beer but it made for a fun time. Lots of laughs :)

I'm not really into my 365 anymore. Ugh.
