I always rib my wife when she wants to take pictures of rainbows, because I believe they're one of those things that are just so much better to witness in person.

Yes I agree with you actually...
but I thought I'd give it a try... and it was actually pouring rain when I took the pictures, which was definitely taking away from the "in person witnessing experience"!! :-)
